What are the Waikato Festive Markets?
Waikato Festive Markets is the home of three seasonal events held throughout the year: the Waikato Christmas Market, Mid Winter Christmas Market, and Waikato Easter Market. Each event celebrates local makers, food vendors, and festive experiences.
Where are the markets held?
Our markets take place at Claudelands Events Centre in Hamilton. Summer events are held on the outdoor grounds near the Claudelands Barn, while winter events are hosted undercover in Hall C.
When are the markets on?
Dates and times vary for each event. Please check our website or follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest event announcements.
Where do I purchase my ticket?
Tickets are available for purchase on arrival. Entry is $5, and children under 12 are free!
Is there onsite parking available?
Yes, we have plenty of free onsite parking. Wheelchair/disability parking is also available, and you must display a mobility parking permit for our parking team to direct you to the reserved area closest to the event.
Can I use my EFTPOS card?
Definitely! Some of our stalls may not have EFTPOS abilities, but there will be a cashout stall at the venue.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely! The event is designed to be fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring everyone can comfortably enjoy the festivities. Additionally, it's pushchair-friendly, providing convenience for families with young children.
What happens if it rains?
We go ahead, rain or shine! Have an umbrella ready in the car, pop on your gumboots, and get ready for a delightful day, no matter the weather.
Can I bring my dog?
While we adore dogs, only certified assistance dogs are permitted at the venue.
